A Brief History Of Tea

 












Tea has been popular for centuries. In fact, they have been established as traditional drinks for dynasties in Japan, China, and other Asian countries where they are known to have originated from. It is a part of their daily rituals and even as their medicines for diseases and sickness.

Today, teas are used as regimens for weight loss and skin care because there have been many conducted studies that it has a lot of health benefits. According to nutritionists, tea helps burn fats and speed up the metabolism. It is also used as a component for acne treatment because of its germ killing properties.

In the ancient periods, teas were brewed using clay teapots, but in this modern day and age, most brew teas in stainless steel kettles and stainless teapots although, many are still holding unto the tradition of using ceramic teapots.

According to historians, the first tea leaves were believed to have come from Southeast Asia, specifically in China, India and many other countries in that region. Basically, the natives of these places planted tea trees where they would just pick leaves from it and put the leaves in boiling water which will eventually release its flavor and taste. They use tea as medicines for diseases because of its antiseptic properties and healing powers as the Chinese people would put it.

The spread of the tea in other parts of the world started during the invasions of Western countries to the Eastern countries. Because of the invasion, tea was brought from Asia to their respective countries where they cultivated it and made one of their own traditions. Because of its popularity, tea has become a part of the lifestyle of the people of the west. They made it a part of their afternoon tea party and even considered it as the national drink of England.

Today, many capitalists benefit from the popularity of the tea as it became one of the most salable beverages in the market. Teas are now being bottled, sold, and served to different areas of the world. They can now be drunk in hot or even cold with different combinations of flavors to.

There is a long list of the history of the tea. From the ancient days up to now, it has served its purpose that is to keep us refreshed all the time and gives us the health benefits that we need.
